CATHERINE FORDHAM is an award-winning writer, director and producer. Her short film Consommé screened at MoMA in July 2018 as part of The Future of Film is Female series spotlighting up and coming female directors and was licensed by AMC's horror streaming site, Shudder. Her films have toured theaters nationally with Nitehawk Selected Shorts and Europe with Final Girls Berlin Film Festival. She directed and co-produced the first four episodes of the award-winning mini-series, Best Thing You'll Ever Do which won Best Short Drama at the Independent Television Festival, among other awards. Her feature-length screenplay, Wild Cry Ha, made it to the final round of Sundance Screenwriting Labs and is currently in development. And last Spring, she became the first recipient of Nitehawk Cinema’s The Future of Film is Female grant to develop her thriller short film, KAYA, which was shot in July in Socorro, New Mexico and recently won the Audience Choice Award at the Las Cruces International Film festival. A member of Cinefemme, a bi-coastal filmmaking collective, Catherine was selected to attend Werner Herzog’s Rogue Film School in Munich, Germany, where she learned to pick locks.
